Netgear MA101 wireless network adapter troubleshooting?

ok well i have a netgear MA101 wireless network adapter and well it used to work until my dad recently only made our network only available to our own devices by their mac addresses and he has stopped broadcasting our network so no one can see it. is there any way how i can get my wireless adaptor to work without me having to reenable broadcasting (because my dad doesn't want to) however the network adapter is on another computer not this one. but if you need to know this i connected it to a computer that's windows xp (sp1) just in case you need to know. Thanks for answering 1st answerer but that's what i did and it still didn't work. i did put mac address of network adapter on it and it still doesn't work o and i also did type in the SSID of the connection i wanted to connect to. The connection im connecting to also has no wep.

1. If you know the name of your network (and you enter that network as the one you want to connect to) and you enter the MAC address of your adapter into the list of approved MAC addresses it should work. If if that doesn't solve your problem, post more information about what works on the network and what doesn't and when it stopped working.
