wireless troubleshooting?

I'm trying to connect to my wi network using my work laptop (IBM Thinkpad). At the beginning it would not connect saying that the dhcp server was not responding. Now is connected but I don't get internet. What can I do? I have the key to enter the network. I'm also getting this message: 'Your network has limited or no connectivity' WEP Keys are all entered

  1. Get the WPA key from the admin...
  2. There are many probable reason why you can not connect even if your wi status says your connected. You can try disabling your anti-virus and firewall for 5 minutes then check if you can access the net. To check if your FW or antivirus is blocking you from the net you can to pinging a specific web site if it replies back it means that your FW or antivirus is blocking you. Disabling them may solve your problem or it can be the authentication protocol that you are using. You can either use IEEE or the native authentication of your wireless router; simply put it can be your user name and password. to solve this, try disabling the authentication of your router so that u can connect to it without authentication which eliminates the possibility that your using the wrong username and password.
