Wireless Troubleshooting

how do i get my wireless internet setup?

so i have windows 7 the64 bit and i recently bought a belkin enhanced wireless router which says compatible with windows 7. this is such a mess.... the router is setup but my compputer says cannot connect. help?

1. there could be so many answers to that. i would call your computers help line they helped me with this problem, sorry i'm not much help
2. Is it a Notebook or a desktop? is it just a router or is it a modem router? need to know exactly otherwise I can't help you. I'm an IT tech so I'll do my best to help
