I need Help, I need to knw if my Internet Provider will work on a new Wireless Router?

Its one of the press n connect Routers, will it work on my PS3 cause its different how It connects 2 routers. I need help.

1. this depends on what kind of router it is linksys , or belkin, i currently have 2 CPU and a nintendo hooked up to my linksys router with dsl modem what you do is hook the router up and change the ip to 192.168.2.1 this is done by hooking up the router to the computer with out hooking up the modem, then open ie explorer and type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter,(the user name and pw by default are both admin) when the page comes up look for a spot where it says Local IP Address then change the 2nd to last number ( the first 1) to a 2 this is done so the router has a different ip than your modem (they both will not work with the same local ip) and save your changes. now connect your modem to the router and your cpu and due to ps3 not having a built in wireless that also (this is if it has multiple jacks for multiple cps or hardware. now restart your cpu and you should be all set if not message me and ill walk you thru it.
2. Set up your PS3 for use on the PlayStation Network (provided you set up your router FIRST). All you have to do is let your PS3 scan for any available wireless access points and it will automatically recognize your router's SSID (the name of your connection). Just choose the connection and there you go!
