Wireless Troubleshooting

I want to be able to play online on my wii.I saw these wireless usb things that i guess help you play online.?

I dont really know how these things work.So i dont know if that little wireless usb is the only thing i need to play online...someone please help

1. Yes the sell them at kmart and walmart they will plug into the back of the wii and allow you to plug your lan or cat 5 cable from your internet connection into it, and bingo your online in no time :)
2. I just went to Settings from the Wii Menu, from Settings I went to Internet, and then i searched for a wireless connection. It worked well, though a bit laggy at first.
