Wireless Troubleshooting

How can I switch to a different Wireless network when using a wireless ethernet adapter/bridge?

I keep getting connected to a wireless network across the street. I am running Windows 98 on this desk top so there is no little wireless icon in the system tray like on XP. The wireless adapter is connected through a ethernet card that was an add on for my desk top. I'm not sure how I can switch wireless networks. The wireless adapter does not come with any software. It's just a plug in thing. Any ideas appreciated.
